Third Date Ideas in Los Angeles

If you're one of those lucky people who make it to a third date in this city, a short list of things to do while smitten. By Los Angeles, I mean Los Angeles County.

Ping Pong at the Paddle Room, then dinner in DTLA

See how competitive your new love interest is at the formerly Susan Sarandon co-owned ping pong bar, the top of The Standard Hotel on Flower & 6th Streets. Then make a reservation for dinner at any of these great downtown los angeles restaurants including:

Baco Mercat (Mediterranean), Little Sister (Vietnamese), Drago Centro (Italian), Redbird (New American), Sugarfish (Sushi), The Factory Kitchen (Italian), Bavel (Mediterranean)

Dinner at Jon & Vinny's and the Main Room at the Comedy Store

Jon and Vinny's on Fairfax. Make reservations as early as possible or call in. You can't go wrong with any of their pizzas, but don't forget to get the Spicy Fusilli. Leave with at least one slice of their chocolate cake.

The Main Room or the Original room is a great bet at The Comedy Store. Locals like Iliza Shlesinger, Marc Maron, Chris D'Elia, Neal Brennan and Bobby Lee are often there.

You'll have to valet at both places. 😬

Hiking Portuguese Bend and Lunch in San Pedro

Stow a first aid kit and at least two liter of water in your backpack before taking on this dog-friendly hike to the edge of the coast.

Seafood Hog out at the San Pedro Fish Market or enjoy some British pub food and brews at The Whale & Ale.
